I know too many people who have lost their Life Savings with this one.
The last person i have had to help with this scam lost over $500,000
Unfortunately one person that killed themselves after losing everything.
If you fall for this one you won't get your money back.
This is a well orchestrated Scam/Con
It involves many scammers.
-Fake Lawyers
-A Fake Trading Company
-Fake Tech Support
-Fake Brokers
-Fake Accountants
-Fake Trading Specialists
they are mostly found in Fake emails or Fake ads.
You will find they by searching online,
Most of the sites are Fake.
When you email or Call them the Scam Begins,
its different with every person but the end result is the same.
they Take your for as much money as they can.
They are not looking to take your Credit Cards
or scam you out of a few hundred dollars.
They are coming after everything you have.
Even getting people to re-mortgage their house.
It starts by you transferring money to your Digital Wallet.
But your actually giving it away to the scammer and they are keeping it.
they they give you their trading program.
It fake, its a simulation Program.
than they create your "Fake Digital Wallet"
they can change the amount of money they want you to see,
You will realize its a scam when you cant get your money out.
it looks like you have a ton of money in your digital wallet.
when you try to transfer it out you cant.
you will find out its all been a simulation.
At this point some people wont be able to believe they lost everything..
For those people the scam gets even worse..
These people cling to a hope that they will get your money back,
They will never get a Cent back from the Scammers
Than comes the Fake RCMP/Lawyers/Recover/Fraud.... ETC.
They start calling saying they can get your money back...
they say you need to show proof of funds..
of you need to pay the Recover fee, things like that..
Basically they say you pay them, They will help you get your funds..
They wont they are the same people that did the First Con/Scam
It will continue for a long time even after you tell them its a Scam
They are Ruthless and they will not leave you alone.
They will try and get everything they can get from you and than more.
The best advice i can give is.
DON'T get involved with cryptocurrency!
You really need to know what your doing with this one.
Even than the risk is very high.
You will most likely lose everything.
Cryptocurrency is too unstable
it can go from $1000000 to $0 within a day
If you decide to risk it.... I hope you don't get this Con/Scam
I don't know one person who has made Money with Crypto.

This one the Video speaks for itself
A customer brought me a Surface where the screen was separated
first glance it looked like it had been dropped.
A closer look the batteries had swollen and popped the screen off.
Batteries are incased in a flame resistant bag...But...
if the bag is breached and the battery explodes this will happen..
in this case I Helped it by poking the bag open,
but the one bag did have a pinhole breach.
there was a good chance this would have happened on its own in time.
This can also happen with Tablets and Cellphone,
So don't mess around if your device is swelling up.
Get it out of your house and put it in a safe place.
if it doesn't burst into flames it will smoke out your house.
That smell doesn't come out..
When i worked at Futureshop as a Tech this was a common thing.
Specifically with one Model of HP Laptop.
This is were the inspiration for my Logo came from
Its a Jab at Futureshop when I left and started my business.
My logo of the laptop on fire model that had the exploding batteries.
and yes in the picture I am hold a laptop that is really on fire.

Windows 10 vs Windows 11
If you want the short answer...
Stick with windows 10 as long as you can.
Windows 11 is a drastic change from windows 10
its very confusing and hard to find your way around it.
If you have to use windows 11 you will be fine but not happy.
all the new Machines come with 11 and in most case your stuck.
Here is a short list of things that will make you mad
- Start menu button is now in the middle
-Most options that were in control panel are now in setting.
-Printers are now out of the control panel and hard to install.
- Control panel items are now hard to find and are now in settings.
-Windows forces you to have a Microsoft account to use your PC.
-Setting a default program is now very hard to set.
Windows 10 Forces the 11 Update if your PC is compatible
- Very hard to disable antivirus if needed.
-Email Program is very hard to use.
-Updates are forced and happen randomly while your working.
-People are getting locked out of their PC's thanks to Microsoft login.
- You must have internet to setup the computer.
-Microsoft logs everything you do and is hard to disable.
So in the end Windows 11 works but is ridiculous to install and use.

There are 2 thing I run into all the time.
I am always asked if its safe to use USB Flash drives to back up photos.
this is an easy answer for me..
NO.. and the second thing is run into is why...
The second thing I run into all the time is.......
I deleted a photo by mistake and when I went to us the USB drive,
all my pictures are gone? Can you get them back?
and the answer to that most of the time is....
NO.. Flash is not reliable.
They fail all the time.. its Flash media.
its not designed for long time storage..
Its original creation was to get data from one place to another.
Flash media can lose its charge if its not used.
Flash chips can die from shocked.
It can become corrupt if removed while data is still being written.
flash media can only be written to so 10,000+ times.
Average life span of typical USB sticks is 5 years.
Cheap ones i have seen the USB ports snap off.
So Don't use USB Flash Drives to backup your Pictures.
Sues External USB Standard Drives. (Spinning Drives)
or my Favorites CD/DVD/Blu-ray.
and the next bit of advices is very important
Always keep your Pictures in more than one type of media
for example, Keep your Pictures on your PC/Laptop,
and make a backup on a External Hard Drive and DVD/Blu-ray
Odds of losing them all are slim

This is one geared towards people with male names.
The email appears to come from your email as well.
This email goes on about a virus accessing your Computer.
About you going on an adult website.
Them recording you with your webcam.
You can guess the rest.
Then they say they are going to send the video to all your contacts.
You must pay a them not to do it.
Don't show anyone the email or they will send the Video.
Its all nonsense!
There is no proof that a webcam can be controlled with a virus.
There are sites that say there has been, but none have been Reported.
All the lists on Norton and Microsoft have reported "No such virus."
Security Cameras are a different matter.
If they are not setup right they can be accessed.
This is due to default passwords.
This email should just be ignored.
If you look closely the email is not coming from your email.
The Display name has just been changed to your email address.
If you hover over the name it will show you the real address.
Don't reply and don't contact them.

This is a common one going around emails right now.
This email is fake.
They want you to call the Phone # in the email.
You will be connected to a Scam center.
When you call them they will ask for the credit card #
and the scam is complete.
they max out your credit card with fake charges.
In some cases they will ask for multiple credit cards
or get you to go to a website and login to your band to make sure the charges have been returned..
This is a Bigger Scam!!
They drain your account..
This scam can come in many different forms
-Antivirus Renew
-Amazon Purchases
-Over Payments
-Online store Purchases
Never call them you will be added to a Scam call list.
They also sell the lists of collected phone #'s and sell them to other Scammers.

This one should be obvious its a scam.
But so many people fall for this one.
If you get a call that sounds like a Robot Hang-up
Don't talk or press any buttons on your phone.
Some robo calls are just looking to see if a human pick up.
Some are trying to get you to you to a scammer.
Here are some common ones.
A robot voice says something like...
-There has been a Charge to your Credit Card.
-A purchase for $400 has been made on your Amazon Account.
-Your Bank account has been Breached.
-We have detected false purchases attached to your phone #.
-We have tried multiple times to deliver your package.
-Our Records indicate your payment has not been processes.
-Your bell/Rogers/Cogeco account is past due.
-You are being investigates by the RCMP for a Package shipped to you.
-you are being investigated for Tax Fraud.
The list is endless.
Easy Solution.. Hang up.
If you on your cell hit the Report or Block button after the call

Password Phishing is where Scammers try to get your password
The Picture beside is an example of one.
Here are some more examples
-Your Bank password has expired
-Your account has been Hacked login to recover your account
-Someone has tried Access to your account, login to see activity.
-Forgot password has been Requested, if it wasn't' you "click here"
-Someone made a Purchase on your account, Check your account
-Your E-Transfer has been accepted, "Click Here" to see details
-Your password has been changed Login if you did not change it
There are so many way people try to get your password.
Never click a link in an email and try to login to any account.
Bank or Credit card,
Call the Phone # on your card if you don't do On-line banking.
Amazon or E-bay.
Login to your account through the phone app or Browser.
Check the security Setting and change the password if your worried.
Its Always a good idea to enable "2 Stage Authentication"
Email through your internet provider
Call your internet provider with the Phone # off your Bill
Email with Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook.com
Login to your account through Browser.
Go to Security Tab and check Activity
Its Always a good idea to enable "2 Stage Authentication"
Change the password if your worried.
Prime Video, Disney+, Online Streaming
Login to your account through the phone app or Browser.
Check the security Setting and change the password if your worried.
PayPal
Login to your account through the phone app or Browser.

Don't Fall for the people calling you and saying you have a virus
No one can tell if your computer has a Virus.
They would have to be sitting at your PC or Connected to your PC.
If they say they are Microsoft, THEY ARE NOT...
Let Be Honest..... Microsoft could care less about any of us, let alone if your computer had a Virus or not.
Never Give them access to your PC or do anything they say
Best thing to day is
"I Have already Called the Police last time your called"
They will hang up very fast..

A Warning Pops up on your Computer
You have 2,000 Viruses!!

What should you do???? The Answer is............
"Restart your computer"
This is just a Popup, it is not a virus and under no circumstances do you ever call them. A simple restart will get rid of the Problem.
This type of scam feeds on most peoples Fears
The Fear of losing all your data and Pictures.
They scare you into calling the Phone Number so they can Get your banking Information and take your credit Cards.
The scary part of this scam is if you give them any of your banking information or Credit Cards. The Scammers can take all your money and Legally the banks don't have to get your money back or reimburse you. because you Gave them your permission to your accounts.
NEVER CALL THEM!

Windows Notifications are Popups that show up down by your Clock.
these are ment for windows to display messages.
But.. they can be used for Malicious purposes too.
Your Anti Virus will not pick them up as they are Notifications.
Her are a few examples:
"You Have a Virus Click here to Fix"
"Top Stories"
"You have Won a Free Trip"
"Your Drivers are out of Date"
"Windows has Errors"
"50% off Your Antivirus"
"Your Antivirus is out of Date"
This is Click Bait in most Cases,
It is Warning that you could Have Fake Plugins or Extensions in your Browser or a Adware Virus
In most cases these are Easy to Remove.
And will cause no problem in the Future if they are Properly Cleaned
Call Me I Can Clean 90% of them Remotely.
Out of all the Anti Viruses what is the Best?
I have tested all the antiviruses I have come across.
Most I Tried were Rubbish.

1) It's Free and is Built into the Operating System
2) It's by Microsoft, the Maker of the Operating System.
3) Microsoft knows where all there Weaknesses and Holes are.
4) Its Not a 3rd Party Software
5) It Doesn't Slow Down the Operating System
6) It found 80% of the Viruses i threw at it.
Second & Third Place is a Tie
McAfee & Norton Antivirus. But!
1) They Slow down the Operating system
2) They Take over the Operating System
3) They Stop Programs that are not Viruses
4) They have more Popups than most Malware have.
5) They install Multiple Programs and Browser Addons.
6) They are Hard to Remove.
They do work they both found 75%-80% of the Viruses i threw at it.
THE WORST Antivirus Programs
The worst programs are all the other programs in the Picture
(Excluding the Norton and McAfee Logos)
To sum it up they all cause Operating system Problems.
and None of them found over 50% of the Viruses i threw at them. and everyone I Had to Reinstall Windows after doing my Tests.
it left Bits and Peace's all over the Operating system.
Some would not Uninstall and if they did most set Timers to reinstall them self at a later date.
Others Displayed offers to Re-buy or Re-install Notifications randomly.

Anti Viruses are Not 100%
They are just like a Home security System
If some one breaks or tries to force there way into your House
The alarm will go off.
But... if some one shoes up at your door wearing a waring a stocking on their Face and say they are here to check your your water quality.
Your alarm wont go off and odds are he is not the Waterman..
An antivirus is the same.. if you allow the item into your PC the antivirus will Most likely ignore it.

Here are the Most Common Reasons for No Internet.
1) Modem need a Reboot
Unplug the Modem, Wait 30 Seconds and Plug it back in
If you have a router Do the same with it as well.
2) Cable is Unplugged
Check all the cables in the modem and follow where they go to make sure they are all plugged in and all connections Coax are tight.
3) Airplane Mode
if you see the Airplane in the bottom right corner by the Time and Date.
Click on the Icon right after the clock that looks like a Message Bubble. Click on the Airplane and your WIFI should come back on.
4) Router Not working
Sometime your router can lose its programing.
Most times its a Power outage or Auto-Upgrade goes wrong.
Your internet provider will not help you with this as its 3rd party Router.
There is a way to solve this problem for good...
i would subject calling your internet provider and requesting a modem with Built in Wireless, than you don't need a router and if anything goes wrong.. Its your Providers Problem to fix it for you.
If those Don't Solve your Problem it might be out of your Hands and unfortunately you need to contact your Internet Provider.
Should you have Anti-Malware Programs?
The Answer is...
NO!
- Most of these Program are a Scam.
- They are completely unnecessary,
- Your Anti-Virus should Clean off Malware.
- The Remove Programs that are not Malware
-More times than not they contain viruses.
-They don't Work or interfere with your Anti-Virus
Most Cases people have Reported Credit Card Theft after Purchasing.
Also Reports of Over billing, Multiple Billing.
In my 25 Years of Experience,
Anti-Malware Programs do more bad than good.
Back in the Windows 98/ME/Vista Days they were a Good Thing,
Not any More.
One of the Saddest and most Expensive problem is Data Loss
Nothing Sucks more than losing all your Pictures
that is something that you can't replace.
If your a business and you lose all your Data that could be the end of your business.
There are many ways you can lose your Data.
Hard drive Failure and Ransomware Virus are the Most Common.
Hard Drive Failure if its a spinning drive there are ways to get your Data back SOMETIMES.. But its's Very Expensive and its a 50/50 Chance and you pay the same nonmatter whether they get data or not.
Solid State Hard drives/SSD's more times than not your data is Gone
Same as above pay the same nonmatter whether they get data or not.
and your chances are even Lower, less than 25% you will get your data back
Ransomware your Data's Gone even if you pay the Person who made the virus your Data will still be gone and you will be stuck with the fee and your banking or Credit card WILL be stolen... Never Pay to try and get your data back.
There is One Simple Solution
Buy a Backup Drive like the one in the Picture.
Seagate is my Favorite they are Cheap and Good Quality.
Copy all your Data, Pictures, Music, Videos you Care about to that drive.
Every time you add new Pictures or Data.
A Few More Tips
-Never leave the Drive Connected to USB or AC
when your done backing up Unplug them all
-Keep it in a safe spot you can quickly grab if there is a Fire
-Ransomware or a Virus DON'T Plug the Drive into the Computer until you have had it Cleaned or it will Delete all the data on the Drive
(Best this is to call me before you do anything if you get a Virus)
-Don't Use Backup Software they don't always work.
(Do it Manually and you know it worked)

Desktops For Normal Usage
1) Desktop are Cheaper.
2) Parts and Upgrades are Cheaper.
4) More options to Upgrade.
5) Easier to work on.
6) Desktop are More Powerful and Faster.
7) Bigger Screens on a Desktop.
8) All parts can Be replaced on a Desktop.
9) Desktops Life Span is Longer than Laptops By just about Double

1) They are Big
2) They need a Fixed Place to Use them Desk or Table
Laptops For Normal Usage
1) More Convent.
2) They are more Mobile, Back and Fourth to work
3) They Don't need a perinate place to keep them.
Laptop Downside
1) They Can be Dropped
2) Water Damage is Very common with Laptops
3) Batteries Usually need to be replaced after a year or so.
4) Contrary to there Name they should not be used on you Lap
5) They Overheat
6) Life Span on a Laptop is 2-5 Years
7) You can only Upgrade the Hard Drive or Ram
on Most Laptops as of 2020
8) New Laptops have Hard drives built into the
Main board so they can be removed or upgraded.
9) Repairs are expensive ,
in most cases the laptop needs to be stripped down.
10) Not as Powerful as a Desktop with Equivalent Specs
Laptops VS Desktop for 3d Games
1) Laptops are SUPER expensive for Games
2) Video Card Cant be upgraded on Laptops
3) Laptops are not as Powerful as a Desktop
4) Gaming Laptops Run Hot
5) Gamming Laptops are Very Heavy
Basically Laptops SUCK for Gamming

-Upgrades on Hardware is Limited
-Most Mac Parts Have to Be Ordered for Repair
- Most Mac Repairs Take a Long Time
-Most Macs all Parts are attached to the Mainboard Like Laptops
-Mac's are Very Expensive to Fix and Require Special Tools and in Some Cases Lasers Machines to melt the Glue or Tape.
- Mac is very Limited what you can do with out Emulating Windows
- Emulating Windows on a Mac Runs Slower the a Pc and Has Problems.
- Games Selection is Limited with Mac
-PC Games Don't Run in Windows Emulators
- Mac Uses Forced Obsolescence Especial when the Change CPU Types
- Apple Releases a New OS just about Yearly
- If Or Mac is older than 3-5 Years will the New OS Might not Take.
- if it does will all your Apps you Paid for Work? its always a Gamble
- Microsoft Programs Always Seem to have Problems with Mac.
-Printers always seem to have problems with Mac.
- The Backside (IT) part the OS is very hard to fix.
- Mac Terminal is annoying, Need to tak a Courses to learn it.
-Finder is very Hard to find things if you are looking for a big file.
-Bad File Infrastructure
-Outlook is Awful for Mac
-Very hard to recover files if you cant use Cloud or Time machine.
-Mac's Do get Viruses Malware and Rough Software.
-If you Miss Upgrading the OS by 3 Yrs, Good luck Getting it to update.
-When something goes Wrong its a Mac-Tastrophy
-Apple Reports you if you use Bootleg Music, Movies or Software
Positive Side of Mac
- Apple Makes Good Quality Products
- Front end is easy to Use
- They Run Smooth
- Updates are Easy
- It's Harder for a Mac to get a Virus
- Microsoft Office is available for Mac.
PC Negatives
- Windows Has Driver Issues
- PC's Can Get Viruses
-Windows Has Glitches
-Windows Updates Have bad Timing
-3rd Party Software Can Cause Problems with PC
-There are a lot of Fake Programs
-PC's are a bigger target for Scams
PC Positives
- Pc are Easy to Use
- PC's are Cheap (Except for Games)
-Pc Repairs are Cheap
- Most Desktop are Fully Upgradeable
-PC Parts are sold in Everywhere
-You not Limited to Windows Products
-There are Many Manufacture of PC's and Parts
-Gaming is Far Better on PC's
-There are More Game Titles for PC than Mac
-You can do anything on a PC with no Restrictions
-Reverse Compatibility and Compatibility Modes back to win98.
-Pirated Music , Movies or Software is not Reported by Microsoft
-Most Old Software will still work on New Ver's of Windows.
-You can Emulate any version of Windows or Dos for Free
-Games Run Great in Emulators
Now for my Opinion.
I don't Like Apple,
You have a perfectly good machine......
But apple says you cant use it because its not supported anymore.
No Reverse Compatibility.
And You can only do what apple says you can do.
I Find Mac is a Culture not a Better Product.
